Carolina Hush Puppies

Recipe By Adapted from Saveur

Recipe By Adapted from Saveur

It's almost impossible to enjoy a Carolina style barbecue plate without hush puppies. These savory yet slightly sweet fried dough bites are reminiscent of a cornbread donut hole. They're guaranteed to get gobbled up fast, especially when paired with honey butter, so you might want to make a double batch!

Serving Suggestions

Hush puppies taste best right after they are fried. Serve with your favorite style of barbecue. Perfect with chopped or pulled pork.
