About this Spice

Native to the coast of West Africa, stretching from Liberia to Nigeria. It's sometimes called Atar, "baking pepper," Guinea pepper, Melegueta pepper, and Roman pepper. The seeds are red-brown, chestnut color, and shaped like pyramids.
