Saffron-Brined Shrimp

Ingredients
1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined Cold water, to cover shrimp
Saffron Salt
1 Tbsp. Saffron Salt*
Directions
Step 1
Brine shrimp
Step 2
Place shrimp in a large bowl and add cold water until shrimp is submerged. Add Saffron Salt and stir until salt is dissolved. Refrigerate shrimp in brine for up to 1 hour.
Step 3
Cook shrimp
Step 4
Drain brining liquid and remove shrimp. Grill, sauté, or bake shrimp for 1 to 3 min. per side. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
If using frozen shrimp, defrost before brining.
