Black Garlic Rangoon

These crispy, creamy rangoon make a great appetizer and opportunity to bring friends and family together to help fill and fold them!

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, scallions, and Black Garlic Salt. In a small bowl, whisk egg until smooth.
Step 3
Take wonton wrappers one at a time, dip a finger in beaten egg, and lightly paint the edges of the wrapper. Add a heaping tsp. of cream cheese mixture to center of wrapper. Pinch middles of adjacent edges together and join in the center, forming a 4-pointed star. Fold all four corners over in the same direction, forming a pinwheel. Place on baking sheet and repeat with remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
Step 4
Brush each rangoon lightly with oil and bake for 15 to 18 min., or until edges are crispy and lightly browned.
