Coco de Leche Ice Cream

Coconut meets dulce de leche in this sweet & simple summery treat.

Ingredients
1 2/3 cup whole milk 1 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 (13 oz. can) dulce de leche 1 Tbsp. spiced rum 2 tsp. Coconut Extract
Mayan Sea Salt
1/2 tsp. Mayan Sea Salt
4 oz. white chocolate
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped

Step 1
Make ice cream base
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, dulce de leche, rum, Coconut Extract, and Mayan Sea Salt until well combined. Chill for at least 1 hour.
Step 3
Churn
Step 4
Churn ice cream according to ice cream maker instructions. While churning, melt white chocolate and coconut oil together in microwave. When ice cream is almost done churning, slowly drizzle white chocolate mixture in. Add macadamia nuts and churn for a few more seconds until evenly distributed. Freeze ice cream for 8 hours or overnight before serving.
