Most countries have dishes in which lime is an essential ingredient. Makrut lime leaves are indigenous to Southeast Asia; many trees now thrive in Hawaii. We find that the best way to add true, natural lime flavor is with makrut lime leaves. We handcraft this blend from sea salt, lime, and makrut lime leaves.

Ingredients:
Sea salt, lime, makrut lime leaves.

Makrut Lime Sea Salt has an expected tartness, without being sour or bitter, and is very refreshing. From Asian to Caribbean to Latin inspired cuisines, this salt can be tossed, sprinkled, or dusted across a wide variety of dishes from savory to sweet. Also great for rimming cocktail glasses. For a chile lime salt, add a teaspoon of chipotle chile powder or other chile blend to one ounce of lime salt.

Spice Tips!

Try this with:

  • Margarita Garnish: Rim cocktail glasses with lime juice then dip in lime salt.
  • Guacamole: Mash avocado with lime salt to taste.
  • Shortbread: Sprinkle over cookies just out of the oven.
“I absolutely love your website. I always find something new and interesting that I want to try. My children heard that I was going place an order and they both sent me emails requesting things. Can't wait to get my order and get cooking. “
