Street taco-style carne asada tacos get a lift of bold, citrusy flavor with a quick sauce. Marinate your steak and load up the table with as many toppings as you can think of for a fun and flavorful taco night experience!

Ingredients

For marinade:

1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped

1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp. lime juice

1/4 cup agave




2 tsp. paprika of choice:





3/4 cup olive oil

For tacos:

1 lb. skirt steak

Street taco sized tortillas

Toppings: pico de gallo, cotija cheese, cilantro, reserved sauce

Directions

In a large bowl, combine all marinade ingredients except olive oil. Slowly stream in olive oil while whisking until marinade is emulsified. Reserve about 1/2 cup marinade. Marinate steak in large bowl for 20 to 30 min. Pat dry and grill to desired doneness, from 125 degrees for rare to 160 degrees for well done. Slice steak into strips, assemble tacos with desired toppings, and serve with reserved sauce.
