Broccoli & Beer Cheese

Need a cheese sauce for broccoli? Look no further. Take broccoli and cheese a step further with a dry stout to make a beer cheese recipe.
Our Country Onion Herb Veggie Shaker was inspired by the flavors loved in southern Ireland. The garlic, onions, and herbs in this blend go perfectly with roasted potatoes and any other hearty roasted veggie, including broccoli.

Ingredients
For veggies: 2 heads broccoli, cut into florets Optional veggies: cauliflower, red onion, small red potatoes Canola oil, to coat 2 Tbsp. Country Onion Herb Veggie Shaker For beer cheese: 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 3/4 cup whole milk or half and half 2/3 cup Guinness or dry stout of choice 3 Tbsp. Country Onion Herb Veggie Shaker 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
Step 1
Roast veggies
Step 2
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a sheet pan with foil. Toss veggies with just enough oil to coat and season with Country Onion Herb Veggie Shaker. Roast for 10 to 15 min. until crispy.
Step 3
Make beer cheese
Step 4
In a medium pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add flour and whisk to combine. Cook and stir flour mixture for 2 min. Slowly pour in milk and whisk until no lumps remain. Slowly pour in Guinness and whisk until no lumps remain. Add Country Onion Herb Veggie Shaker and cheese. Stir until combined. Add Mayan Sea Salt to taste.
Step 5
ServeServe veggies with a side of beer cheese, or drizzle cheese over veggies.
