Easy Steakhouse French Dip Sandwich

Ingredients
3 cups water, plus ¼ cup cold water 3 Tbsp. beef base, like Better Than Bouillon [article shop] 3 Tbsp. Hudson Bay Beef Spice [article shop] 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce 2 tsp. Balsamic vinegar 1 tsp. cornstarch 1 Tbsp. butter ¾ lb. roast beef, sliced 4 sub rolls 4 slices Provolone or Swiss cheese

Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
To make the au jus, bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low and whisk in the beef base, Hudson Bay Beef Spice, Worcestershire sauce, and balsamic.
Step 3
Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch to ¼ cup cold water, whisking until smooth. Then add to the au jus mixture. Whisk to combine, turn the heat up to medium-high. Add butter and whisk until melted.
Step 4
Separate roast beef slices and place in the au jus until warm.
Step 5
Using tongs, place an equal portion of beef on each roll. Top with a slice of cheese. Bake for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
Step 6
Serve with au jus for dipping.
