Halloumi Tikka Masala

Ingredients

4 Tbsp. ghee or unsalted butter, divided 1 yellow onion, sliced thin 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 (2-inch) knob ginger, peeled and minced
Coriander Seeds 1 tsp. Coriander Seeds
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
¼ tsp. Inner Cardamom Seeds
Garam Masala Seasoning 2 Tbsp. Garam Masala Seasoning, divided
Guajillo Chile Powder 1 tsp. Guajillo Chile Powder
Ground Turmeric 1 tsp. Ground Turmeric
2 (14.5 oz.) cans diced tomatoes ¼ cup honey ¼ cup lemon juice
Mayan Sea Salt 4 tsp. Mayan Sea Salt, plus more to taste
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas 1 green bell pepper, diced 1 lb. halloumi cheese, sliced into thin planks 1 cup heavy cream Fresh basil, to garnish
