Hotshot Toddy

This recipe makes a warming spice blend that you can stir into hot water for a daily shot or turn into a hot toddy for a tea-like sipping beverage.

Ingredients
Ground Turmeric
2 oz. Ground Turmeric (~4 Tbsp)
Ground Ceylon Cinnamon
1 oz. Ground Ceylon Cinnamon (~3-4 Tbsp)
Ground Ginger
1/2 oz. Ground Ginger (~2.2.5 Tbsp)
For spice shot (1 serving):
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Hotshot Spice Blend
1 oz. hot water
For Hotshot Toddy (1 serving):
2 tsp. Hotshot Spice Blend
2 tsp. honey (optional)
8 oz. hot almond milk (or milk of choice)

Make Hotshot Spice Blend
Step 2
Make Hotshot Spice Blend by combining all spices together. Store in airtight container at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
Step 3
Make spice shot
Step 4
Make spice shot by mixing 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Hotshot Spice Blend in 1 oz. hot water and drink daily.
Step 5
Make Hotshot Toddy
Step 6
Make Hotshot Toddy by mixing 2 tsp. Hotshot Spice Blend, honey, and hot milk of choice and sip while warm.
