Peppermint Chocolate Holiday Martini

Ingredients
For the peppermint rim:
Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar
2 tsp. Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar
1 Tbsp. simple syrup or melted chocolate for the rim
For the martini:
1 oz. vanilla vodka
1 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 oz. Irish cream liqueur (use crème de cacao if you prefer it lighter)
½ oz. half-and-half, use more or less depending on preference
Dutched Cocoa Powder
1 Tbsp. Dutched Cocoa Powder
½ Tbsp. simple syrup, adjust to sweetness preference
Natural Peppermint Extract
1-2 drops Natural Peppermint Extract, optional (use sparingly)
For the garnish:
Freshly grated chocolate
A pinch of Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar
Directions
Step 1
Rim the glass by dipping a martini glass rim in simple syrup, or melted chocolate. Roll the rim in the Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar and set aside.
Step 2
In a shaker, whisk together Dutched Cocoa Powder with a splash (1-2 tsp.) of warm water until smooth. This creates a silky texture with no clumps for pure chocolate flavor.
Step 3
chocolate flavor. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream liqueur, half-and-half, simple syrup, and Natural Peppermint Extract if using.
Step 4
Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for at least 20 seconds. This aerates the cream, creating a luxurious, velvety texture.

Strain into the rimmed martini glass. Garnish with graded chocolate and a pinch of Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar.
