Directions
Step 1
Combine the oil, Garlic Chile Crunch, and sesame seeds in a small saucepan.
Step 2
Place over low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oil just begins to shimmer and tiny bubbles appear around the spices. Do not let the oil come to a full simmer or boil. This should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3
Remove from the heat and carefully transfer to a clean glass jar. Let cool completely before serving or storing.
Step 4
To make without heating oil: Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir to combine. Allow to sit for at least 4 hours, or overnight, letting flavors meld.
Recipe Notes
Spoon over dumplings, noodles, fried rice, eggs, pizza, roasted vegetables, grilled meats, or avocado toast. Stir into soups, drizzle over grain bowls, mix into mayo for sandwiches and burgers, or add a spoonful to your favorite curry sauce for an extra layer of savory heat.
Cover tightly and keep for up to 7-10 days at room temperature or up to 3 weeks in the fridge.
