Bacon-Wrapped Spanish-Style Dates

These are sinfully delicious. It can be a fun recipe to explore using different Savory blends and different types of nuts and cheeses stuffed into the dates! Customize it or use the original recipe as hors d'oeuvres for a dinner party or holiday meal.

Ingredients
2 oz. Manchego cheese 21 pitted dates 21 Marcona almonds 7 slices thin bacon, cut into thirds 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. Bohemian Forest

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut Manchego into 21 slivers small enough to fit inside dates. Stuff 1 almond and 1 sliver of cheese into each date. Wrap a bacon piece around each stuffed date and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 min. until bacon is crisp. Meanwhile, whisk balsamic vinegar, sugar, and Bohemian Forest in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer until thickened, 5 to 10 min., stirring frequently so it doesn't burn. Arrange bacon-wrapped dates on a platter and drizzle with balsamic syrup.
