Cheesy Turkey Gravy

This decadent sauce is perfect over slices of roasted or smoked Thanksgiving turkey. But don't just make it for the holidays! It's quick, easy, and absolutely delicious with weeknight meals like roast chicken or veggies and rice. Or whip it up for brunch with biscuits and gravy or omelets.

1 tsp. Whiskey Barrel Smoked Black Pepper
Mayan Sea Salt
Mayan Sea Salt, to taste
Optional add-ins:
½ lbs. cooked shredded turkey or chicken
1 (10 oz.) bag frozen mixed veggies (carrots, peas, green beans, etc.)
Directions
Step 1
For gravy: In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shallot and cook 4 to 5 min. until translucent. Add butter. Once butter has melted, stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth. Add seasoning of choice, black pepper, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Be careful not to let it boil. Serve immediately.
Step 2
For add-ins: Once gravy is prepared, add the optional add-ins and continue heating until everything is warmed through.
