Use brandy extract in baking, cocktail and dessert recipes. Brandy Liquor to Brandy Extract Conversion: For a 1/4 cup brandy, substitute 2 teaspoons brandy extract and 1/4 cup water.

About this Spice

As with our other extracts, this is a gluten-free brandy extract. If stored correctly and with a secure cap, brandy extract can last for a year or more – with as much brandy flavor as the day it was purchased. Maintains flavor whether used in baking or freezing.

Does brandy extract make a good substitute for brandy liqueur?



To substitute brandy liquor or liqueur, use 2 teaspoons brandy extract and 1/4 cup water. (Makes about a 1/4 cup of brandy).
