Directions

Place dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Melt butter in microwave or small saucepan. Add spices and sugar and mix well. In batches, pour seasoned butter over dry ingredients and stir gently between each addition until dry ingredients are well coated with seasoning but not soggy. Serve immediately or spread out on a baking sheet to dry out a little. For a crispier texture, you can microwave or bake the mixture. You want the seasoning to cook into the mix and get toasty but you don't want the sugar to burn, so watch carefully. To microwave: Place mix in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2 to 3 min., stirring every minute or so. Spread out on a baking sheet to cool. To bake: Spread mix on a large baking sheet and bake in a 250-degree oven for up to 30 min., stirring every 15 minutes or so. Cool on baking sheet before serving. Store in an airtight container.
