Spicy Togarashi Mayo

Ingredients

1/3 cup mayonnaise, such as Kewpie Japanese Mayonnaise 3 tsp. Sriracha
Garlic Powder ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
¼ tsp. Sugar
Shichimi Togarashi 1 Tbsp. Shichimi Togarashi
Kosher Salt ¼ tsp. Kosher salt, to taste
1 tsp. orange zest, optional

Recipe Notes

We recommend Kewpie Japanese Mayonnaise for this recipe. It's creamy texture and hint of umami bring out the flavors of the spices and sriracha. A splash of rice vinegar adds a gentle tang that balances the heat and richness. To make this Vegan, swap in your favorite Vegan mayonnaise. If you don't want it as spicy, skip the sriracha.
