Tomatillo Mole Jam

This jam is a riff off of the sauce in our classic Mexican Mole dish. The combo of chocolate and chile makes it a unique addition to a cheese plate. It also packs a flavor punch when used as a condiment or spread.

Tomatillo Mole Jam

Ingredients

3 lbs. tomatillos, husks removed ½ cup bottled lemon juice ½ cup raisins 2 cups granulated sugar ¼ cup Mexican Mole
Hot Red New Mexican Chile Powder ¼ tsp. Hot Red New Mexican Chile Powder
Mexican Mole (Nut-Free) Mexican Mole (Nut-Free)

Recipe Notes

Sterilize canning jars with their lids and bands by boiling in water for 10 min. just before filling with jam.
