Saffron-Salted Apricot Blondies

A super simple blondie with hints of floral cardamom, sweet apricots, and crunchy pecans. Saffron Salt is the true star though, adding a bright note of vanilla and balancing the sweetness with a touch of salt.

Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
Saffron Salt 1/2 tsp. Saffron Salt, plus more to sprinkle*
Ground Inner Cardamom Seeds 1/8 tsp. Ground Inner Cardamom Seeds (optional)
1 cup (packed) light brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup dried apricots, minced 1/2 cup pecans, chopped small
