Tarator Tahini Sauce

A delectable Middle Eastern sauce that pairs well with lamb.

Great as a dip for our Lamb Kebabs with Baharat Glaze.

 

Ingredients

½ cup tahini

¼ cup water

2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1-2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp. Kosher Salt




2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Place tahini, 1/8 cup water, 2 Tbsp. lemon juice, garlic, salt, cumin, sumac and cayenne in blender and process on high speed. With the blender running, continue adding more water 1 to 2 tsp. at a time until sauce becomes smooth and the consistency of mayonnaise. Add parsley and process to incorporate.
