Eastern Carolina BBQ Sauce Recipe
- 4 tsp. cornstarch
- 4 tsp. cold water
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Carolina High Country BBQ Rub
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 Tbsp. Regular Yellow Mustard Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Add all Savory items to cart
Mix cornstarch with cold water and set aside. Next, mix together remaining ingredients in a large saucepan, place over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and slowly drizzle in cornstarch and water mixture. Stir and simmer for 1 to 2 min. until slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Serve with pulled pork, chicken or burgers.
