Apple Pie Moonshine

This front porch sipper was submitted by the creative spice merchants from our Charlotte, NC, store. Our North Carolina friends say it's best enjoyed sitting in a rocking chair.

Ingredients
2 cups apple cider
Spiced Vanilla Bean Sugar
1/4 cup Spiced Vanilla Bean Sugar
1 (4-inch) Indonesian Cinnamon Stick
1/4 cup moonshine
Indonesian Cinnamon Sticks
Indonesian Cinnamon Sticks
Directions
Combine everything but the moonshine in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 min. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add moonshine and transfer to a 2-cup sealable jar. It's ready to sip right away, but it gets even better if you let it sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Recipe Notes
Moonshine is widely available in liquor stores, but vodka will work as a substitute.
