Black Garlic Dip Recipe

- 1 Black Garlic Bulb
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. Freeze Dried Shallots (or fresh minced shallots)*
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- pinch of salt
Add all Savory items to cart
*If using dried shallots, reconstitute them in 2 Tbsp. of hot water before using. Discard excess water.
Peel the skin away from all of the garlic cloves. Add peeled cloves to a food processor with sour cream and olive oil and process until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except walnuts. Process until mixure is smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of bowl as necessary. Transfer to a medium bowl and fold in walnuts. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours to allow flavors to meld.
Serve with your favorite vegetables and/or crackers. Great as a sandwich spread.
