This is a customer and spice merchant favorite. Sweet black garlic combined with cream cheese and crunchy walnuts makes for a great veggie dip or sandwich spread.

INGREDIENTS

NOTES

*If using dried shallots, reconstitute them in 2 Tbsp. of hot water before using. Discard excess water.



DIRECTIONS

Peel the skin away from all of the garlic cloves. Add peeled cloves to a food processor with sour cream and olive oil and process until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except walnuts. Process until mixure is smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of bowl as necessary. Transfer to a medium bowl and fold in walnuts. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours to allow flavors to meld.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve with your favorite vegetables and/or crackers. Great as a sandwich spread.
