Here are a some of our favorite World Flavors (and recipes) from six continents around the globe (sorry, Antarctica):
Africa: Berbere Ethiopian Seasoning is a classic seasoning that packs a punch. Our simplified version still has well rounded flavor. It's most commonly used to make the traditional Ethiopian spicy stew, Doro W'et.
Asia: Chinese Five Spice is also a traditional season. In Chinese culinary tradition, the name of the blend is a nod to the balance of the five flavors: sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and savory. This balance means that the seasoning can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. Try it instead of baking spice to add new life to your baked treats or to season BBQ sauces or in more classic dishes like Sweet Ginger Pork Dumplings
Australia: Good On You Vegan Chicken Salt is inspired by a favorite Aussie flavor. This umami seasoning is good on just about anything. Use it as an all-purpose seasoning salt or try it in Savory Cornmeal Waffles.
Europe: Bohemian Forest is a salt-free rub inspired by the mustard based blends of Eastern and Central Europe, this blend is ideal for hearty dishes like roasted meats or vegetables. Try it in Cheesy Quinoa Stuffed Acorn Squash.
North America: Hudson Bay Beef Spice is our version of a traditional Montreal-style steak seasoning. It might be made for steak but the classic flavors are also great when paired with other proteins. Try it in Hudson Bay Turkey Burgers.
South America: Peruvian Chile Lime Seasoning is a bold, flavorful seasoning that features the bright, fruity flavor of the Peruvian Aji Amarillo chile. Great for traditional dishes or to add a new flavor to sides. Try it in Black Bean & Corn Salsa
