Onion & Garlic Everyday Seasoning
Directions
Step 1
Add 3 Tbsp. of Lake Barkley Fried Chicken Seasoning, 1 Tbsp. Onion & Garlic Tableside Sprinkle, and 2 tsp. Kosher Salt to a shallow casserole dish or resealable plastic bag and combine. Then add chicken tenders and use tongs to toss the chicken and evenly coat.
Step 2
Pour buttermilk into the dish or bag, covering the chicken completely, and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight.
Step 3
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
Step 4
In another shallow casserole dish or resealable bag, add the flour and remaining Lake Barkley Fried Chicken Seasoning and Onion and Garlic Tableside Sprinkle. Whisk to combine.
Step 5
Set the panko in a third shallow casserole dish or resealable bag.
Step 6
Dip each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, then directly back into the buttermilk. Coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Step 7
Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and set half of the chicken strips in it, or all if your air fryer has the capacity to fit them all at once. Spray tops with more cooking spray.
Step 8
Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, flip each chicken tender and spray again. Cook for another 10 to 12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 9
Repeat with the remaining chicken tenders if needed.
Step 10
Serve with Mt. Elbert Ranch Dip.
Recipe Notes
Use resealable plastic bags instead of casserole dishes for a faster cleanup. They're great for mixing and marinating. Making cleanup as easy as tossing them in the trash. No scrubbing, no stress.
