Salted Caramel Snack Cake

This sweet and salty cake makes the perfect afternoon snack or cozy coffee sidekick. It's delicious with or without the salted caramel whipped cream topping but don't skip the sprinkle of Salted Caramel Spice on top for extra buttery caramel crunch!

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom and sides of a 8x8 baking pan with butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Tilt pan in a circle to lightly coat. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, Kosher Salt, and Supreme Saigon Cinnamon. Set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add butter, brown sugar, and 4 Tbsp. Salted Caramel Spice. Beat on medium speed for 2 to 3 min. until fluffy and lightened in color.

With the mixer still running, add egg and Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract. Mix until combined. Turn the mixer speed down to low and add ⅓ flour mixture, followed by ¼ cup heavy cream, another ⅓ flour mixture, water, and final ⅓ flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 27 to 30 min. until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.Meanwhile, in a clean bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip remaining 1 cup heavy cream and 2 Tbsp. Salted Caramel Spice on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 min. until medium peaks form. Chill until ready to use. Top cooled cake with salted caramel whipped cream, sprinkle with Salted Caramel Spice, slice, and serve.
