Chili Crisp Cucumber Salad

Our simple, addictive take on the viral TikTok cucumber salad. Thinly sliced cucumbers are shaken with bold, savory ingredients in a large jar or deli container for a quick side or snack packed with crunch and heat.

Ingredients
1 English cucumber, in ribbons or thinly sliced
Kosher Salt
Kosher Salt, sprinkle
2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. fish sauce
1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
Garlic Chile Crunch
1 Tbsp. Garlic Chile Crunch or 2 Tbsp. Garlic Chili Crisp Oil, to taste
1-2 scallions, thinly sliced
Toasted Sesame Seeds
1-2 tsp. Toasted Sesame Seeds
Directions
Step 1
Ribbon cucumber, or slice into thin rounds. Place in a large jar or deli container. Sprinkle with Kosher Salt and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Empty into a strainer and rinse with cold water 3-4 times. Place back in the jar.
Step 2
Add rice vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, toasted sesame oil, and Garlic Chili Crisp Oil, Toasted Sesame Seeds, and shake well to combine.
Step 3
Refrigerate 10–20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For a deeper flavor, let sit for up to an hour. Serve cold.

This recipe uses Garlic Chili Crisp Oil made with Garlic Chile Crunch. Allow time to make Garlic Chili Crisp Oil, and time to let it sit for the flavors to meld.
