No tahini in the house? No problem! This recipe creatively uses sesame seeds to get that classic tahini flavor into a truly simple and very savory hummus.

Simple Savory Hummus

Ingredients

White Sesame Seeds 1/4 cup White Sesame Seeds*
Cumin Seeds 2 Tbsp. Cumin Seeds*
2 (15 oz.) cans garbanzo beans, drained 1 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped juice of 1 large lemon 1/4 cup water 1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil 2 tsp. Ground Sumac

Recipe Notes

*You can use toasted sesame seeds and ground cumin instead, but we like the flavor impact of toasting and grinding the seeds fresh.
