How do you use poultry rub on chicken?

When using poultry seasoning as a dry rub for chicken, use 1 tsp. of chicken seasoning, like our Tropical Poultry Rub, per pound. Generously rub the poultry seasoning on the outside of the skin and/or underneath the skin before cooking. Use sweet & spicy chicken rub with olive oil or melted butter, if desired, to help it stick.

How long do you leave dry rub on chicken?
