Baharat is very common all-purpose spice blend that's traditional to Middle Eastern cuisine, and Lebanese & Syrian recipes. The word "baharat" directly translates to "spices" in Arabic.

For a Baharat curry-style paste, mix equal parts Baharat spices with oil and hot water, and use as a base for sauces.
For a dry marinade, rub Baharat seasoning thoroughly into the roast and refrigerate for one hour, then cook.
