Details

Cuba is comprised of diverse ethnic backgrounds including Spanish, Portuguese, French, West African, and Asian. In creating a seasoning to represent this melting pot, we married two critical flavoring elements of traditional Cuban cuisine: adobo and sofrito. The result is a bright and wonderful seasoning that is unlike anything else we have created.
Traditionally made with fresh ingredients, the base for sofrito is an aromatic trio of chile peppers, onion, and garlic with tomato, cilantro, and parsley completing the sauce. Perfecting a dry version was the first order of business and finding the ideal balance of sofrito and adobo was the final step. Use this seasoning in any Latin American dishes like fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, and quesadillas. Add to dressings, sauces, and sautes. Pairs well with any protein or vegetable.
