This straightforward burger recipe is simple enough to pull off on any busy weeknight and versatile enough to never get old. Handle your patties as little as possible for the tenderest final product, and season with whatever BBQ blend your heart desires. Dress up your burgers however you like--we love ours topped with pickled mustard seeds and seasoned mayo.

Ingredients

1 lbs. ground beef

2 Tbsp. seasoning of choice:

4 burger buns

Choice of toppings: sliced cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, etc.

Directions

Preheat grill for even, high heat. In a large bowl, use your hands to mix beef with seasoning of choice until evenly distributed. Form into 4, 5-inch patties, sprinkle with Mayan Sea Salt to season, and grill for 5 to 6 min. per side, or until cooked through with centers reaching 155 degrees. Add cheese (if using) during the last few min. of cooking to melt. Set burgers aside and place hamburger buns, cut-side down, on the grill to toast. Serve burgers with toppings of choice.
