3 Tbsp. fresh ground dark roast coffee

2 tsp. seasoning of choice:




1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. boiling water, divided

3 egg yolks

2 Tbsp. sweetened condensed milk

1 Tbsp. half and half

Directions

Step 1: Brew coffee

In a French press, add coffee and seasoning of choice. Add 2 Tbsp. boiling water and let sit for 1 min. to bloom coffee. Add remaining 1/2 cup boiling water, cover, and brew for 4 min.

Step 2: Make créme anglaise base

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks vigorously until thickened and pale yellow. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, half and half, and Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract.

Step 3: Finish drink

Fill a tall glass with ice. Slowly strain hot, brewed coffee into bowl with egg mixture while whisking until combined and very frothy. Pour coffee into glass with ice and enjoy.
