Chai Apple Butter Recipe
About 2 cups

- 10 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 5 tsp. Mt. Baker Chai Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste
- 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
Add all Savory items to cart
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir to coat apples. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally. When apples are very soft, use a potato masher to break them down or pour apples and juice into a blender and puree for a very smooth spread. Enjoy warm or cold. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Spread on warm wheat rolls, stir into bread pudding before baking, or serve on top of ice cream.
